Orders
How long will my order take to be processed?
Your order will take different times to process depending on the seller. We encourage all sellers on our Marketplace to process orders as soon as possible within 1-3 days but this varies.
We process our own Smarter Uniforms orders within 2 working days and ship them to you or arrange for pick up at our location in central Brighton.
How can I view my order?
You can view your orders from your profile. This is located on the top left of the marketplace. Click on Inbox to see all your orders.

Why is there a commission and how much is it?
We have to charge a small commission on all completed orders made through our marketplace. Our commission is currently 30% due to the expected low value nature of second hand uniforms.
We aim to bring our commission percentage down in time and to eventually not have one at all, but for now this is needed to help keep our marketplace and website ruining.

What is the pick up location?
If you and the seller decide on a Pick Up delivery methods you will need to arrange a safe location that works for the both of you. We do not encourage unaccompanied students or children to pick up or deliver any orders.
On orders sold by ourselves as the SU Team the pick location is
The FAIR Shop, 6 Duke’s Lane, BN1 1BG. We are open 10am - 5:30pm and anyone can pick up these orders.
Listings
How do I close a listing?
To close a listing go to My Listings on the top left of the marketplace.
You will then see all your listings. Click on the one you would like to close.
On this page, under the price you will see the option to Close Listing. Alternatively you could also delete the listing if the item has been sold or you no longer want to sell it.
How do I create a new listing?
Once you have created an account creating a new listing is easy.
Click on + Sell your Uniforms at the top left corner of the Smarter Uniforms Marketplace and follow the steps.
You then need to select the school which you want to list an item for. Finally, fill in as much information about the uniforms you want to sell as possible including what it is, price, quality, quantity, size, condition and your preferred delivery methods.
What information to include on my listing?
We recommend you add as much information as possible to your listings. This will make it easier for buyers to get all the information they need before purchasing.
We suggest you add the school’s name, sizing as labeled on the uniform, the brand and any more details about quality or damages. Having multiple pictures of the listed item will also improve sales.
